Since I still bake– I got these new canisters to hold flour, sugar and such. I love the excellent SEAL on the lids. And they easily hold the full bag of flour or sugar. However the issue was that the canister is HEAVY once filled. And it is “slippery.” Well, for us “seniors.” The temptation was to grab the LID to lift it up. However that only makes the LIDS POP OFF immediately. The contents could SPILL!
So what I did was buy some plastic “stick on” handles. The added handles seem very secure! And they look nice. Yes, they are solving the problem! Now I have a way to LIFT the canister without touching the LID. Also, the LID isn’t at risk of opening prematurely! Therefore, the flour and sugar won’t ever spill. Oh, by the way, I also bought the smaller size. I put “handles” on those canisters too! Now all the canisters are perfect– I’ll enjoy using them for a long time, no doubt!

Baker Friendly, these storage containers are fantastic for large amounts of flours and sugars. They stack and sit beautifully and each one came with its own 1 cup scoop. The tags are great for easy reading and give the simple clear box a slightly fancier look. I love the lids with all 4 side snap closures and the seal to ensure everything stays fresh. I was surprised by the size of these! I bought these for making Vanilla Sugar..finishing & baking sugars.
They are not clear, but you can easily see what is in your containers. They came with a set of labels & a chalk marker..nice touch!
These will hold way more than the 5# shown..not a bad thing, but if your looking to save space, order down a size!
I have no idea where I will put these, but will make them work! Seals well.
Shipping was super fast. Packaged nicely. Will definitely be using this company again for my organization needs

I ordered it and received a second bath of these. I absolutely love them! The container is also come with the one cup scoop that is really handy. It holds a lot. I’m using one for flower one for sugar. The airtight design keeps everything fresh and no lumps in your sugar, sometimes other containers the sugar would get hard not these The first batch of these was so incredibly handy that I ordered more! In one of them I put opened powdered sugar still in the bag and opened brown sugar still in the bag so they would stay fresh and not get any lumps in the brown sugar! The more things I use these for I figure out something else to use them for. The fact that they are square fits them in to a space really well with no wasted space. If you’re debating getting these, I recommend doing so highly recommend
